A highly sought-after Levi’s Type I reproduction from the historic Valencia Street factory in San Francisco.

This jacket faithfully recreates the early 1930s Levi’s 506XX Type I, featuring the classic single chest pocket, front pleats, cinch/buckle back and Big E red tab. The hardware is stamped 555, identifying the Valencia Street factory, with LS & CO SF markings on the buttons.

This is not an original 1930s/40s Type I — it is a later Levi’s reproduction, believed to date from the late 1990s/early 2000s. However, the Valencia-made reproductions from this era are highly regarded by denim collectors for their attention to detail and use of traditional Levi’s construction and hardware.

A beautiful example for the serious vintage denim or Levi’s collector.
